About the Role We are seeking a skilled Orthoptist for a full-time position at Dunedin Hospital. Our department serves over 350,000 people, ensuring a dynamic environment where you will encounter a variety of patient cases. The Dunedin Hospital Pharmacy Service offers a comprehensive clinical and operational service, featuring a full Aseptic Production unit. We provide a wide range of clinical services that include both generalist and specialist skills. We are looking for an individual who can deliver exceptional service in either the dispensary or clinical settings. Requirements To excel in this role, you will need: - Current New Zealand Registration with NZOSI (or the ability to obtain this) and an Annual Practising Certificate (APC) - Excellent assessment skills - A valid driver’s license - Strong communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport with patients and their families Salary Range This position falls under the PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement, with a salary range from Step 1 ($77,087 per annum) to Step 8 ($110,210 per annum) based on the Degree-based Allied, Public Health and Technical Pay Scale.
