Join our dynamic team at BestStart Melling! We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher in Training to become a part of our experienced nursery team, supporting our under-2 tamariki.

About the Role
In the role of Teacher in Training, you will collaborate with talented kaiako, gaining valuable hands-on experience while you complete your Level 7 ECE qualification (Bachelor or Graduate Diploma). This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday. You will support tamariki in developing their independence, social skills, and confidence, all while enhancing your own teaching practice.

Role Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- Enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma
- A genuine passion for working with infants and toddlers
- A commitment to child-led learning and Te Whāriki
- A willingness to uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
- Enthusiasm, energy, and dedication to providing quality education
