In this essential role, you will provide support to our centres throughout the city, helping to create an environment where our tamariki can thrive and enjoy exceptional care and learning every day. With seven centres conveniently located across the Hutt Valley, this position offers you the opportunity to work in various settings. You will gain diverse experience and have a significant impact on different communities. As a Reliever Caregiver, your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating closely with permanent staff to enhance daily classroom activities - Providing nurturing care, guidance, and active engagement with our tamariki - Taking the initiative to contribute to a warm, welcoming, and positive learning environment - Embracing the dynamic nature of the role by working across multiple centres, ensuring no two days are the same Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess: - A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development - Reliability, flexibility, and a positive, can-do attitude - A caring, respectful, and enthusiastic approach to teamwork and caregiving - The ability to adapt quickly and contribute meaningfully to a supportive team culture No formal Early Childhood Education qualifications are required for this role, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain hands-on experience and explore a rewarding career in early childhood education.
