About the Role
We invite you to join our dynamic multidisciplinary Radiology department, where we provide essential support and services to the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa community. We are seeking a Radiologist who is looking for a lifestyle change and is interested in working within a comprehensive and well-respected Radiology Service known for its outstanding quality of care.
In our department, you will collaborate with experienced Radiologists and a strong technical administrative team. We prioritize creating a supportive and flexible working environment for all our staff. Our Radiology Department serves a diverse population and works with various clinical referrers, including regional plastic surgery and rheumatology services, as well as two Emergency Departments. We offer a range of clinical radiology services, including general radiology reporting, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional radiology. Additionally, several of our Radiologists are subspecialist trained, providing opportunities for peer review and skill enhancement. We also manage Regional Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services within our facility.
Requirements
We are looking for Radiologists who meet the following criteria:
- Vocationally registered in Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or an equivalent qualification, with the ability to register for specialist registration with the MCNZ
- A generalist skill set capable of delivering a wide range of medical imaging procedures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Consistent delivery of high standards of medical care
- Relevant experience and training in the field
