We are currently seeking Experienced Structural Steel Fabricators to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. About the Role We are looking for organized and trustworthy individuals who take pride in their workmanship. In this role, you will be motivated and results-driven, playing a vital part in our projects across six regions. Flexibility regarding work locations is preferred, as you may be asked to assist in various areas. The Experienced Structural Steel Fabricator will be responsible for the following: - Interpreting and following engineering plans, blueprints, and technical drawings. - Assembling steel structures and securing them using bolts, rivets, or welding. - Installing structural steel components at construction sites. - Cutting, shaping, and welding steel materials to required specifications using machine or hand tools. - Inspecting and maintaining equipment and tools to ensure safe and effective operation. - Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. - Collaborating with engineers, crane operators, riggers, and other tradespeople on-site. - Performing repairs or modifications to existing steel structures when necessary. - Working independently or as part of a small team. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - A minimum of 2 years of work experience in steel fixing, welding, fabrication, or related occupations is preferred. - A friendly demeanor and excellent work ethic are essential. - Strong time management skills. - A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry. - Sound knowledge of health and safety procedures. - Reliability and a strong work ethic. - Ability to pass a Criminal Check and Drug Test. Benefits We offer competitive pay, with rates ranging from a minimum of $30.00 per hour to a maximum of $40.00 per hour. Additionally, we guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work each week. Location You will primarily work across various locations, including Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago.
