About the Role
As a Construction Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our projects. Your responsibilities will include tasks that align with your skills and capabilities, all aimed at fulfilling the needs of our business and our customers.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Complying with all aspects of contracts, projects, or tasks while delivering outstanding customer service that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Erecting scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
- Creating structures, forms, or chutes and pouring concrete.
- Covering subfloors with building paper to prevent moisture and laying hardwood, parquet, or wood-strip-block floors.
- Filling cracks or defects in plaster or plasterboard and sanding patches.
- Positioning and securing steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in concrete forms using various tools and equipment.
- Performing general labor duties, including cleaning construction sites as directed by managers.
- Loading and unloading building materials, tools, and equipment, and transporting them around the construction sites.
- Completing any other tasks as assigned.
Pay Conditions
The pay for this position ranges from a minimum of $25.00 per hour to a maximum of $32.00 per hour.
Hours of Work
We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should ideally have some experience in the construction industry, although it is not essential. We value individuals who are friendly, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate an excellent work ethic.

- Sound knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Location
Our projects may require you to work in various locations throughout New Zealand, including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
This role is a permanent, full-time position.
