About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity within our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) team for an energetic Health and Safety Administrator. This is a permanent, full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce. We are looking for an experienced administrator who is eager to take on greater responsibility and complexity in health and safety within a larger organization.
In this role, you will help ensure that all aspects of our Health and Safety function are addressed. Your responsibilities will include assisting with incident reporting and management, as well as collecting data and statistics from our 14 sites nationwide. This information will be crucial for our HSEQ Manager in identifying trends and implementing necessary actions. You will also manage our monthly incident reporting, assist with risk assessments, oversee the chemical inventory, and help with audits and maintaining audit records.
What You’ll Bring
We are seeking a person with a positive attitude and a readiness to engage fully in our projects—no task is too big or too small for you. You should have the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks while demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion is essential, along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in health and safety is required, and exposure to wellbeing, environment, and quality will be considered an added advantage. You should be comfortable navigating systems and have experience using Excel. A certificate in Health and Safety and knowledge of relevant legislation would also be beneficial.
