About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time Waterproofers to join our team and work on projects throughout New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and skilled individuals experienced in various waterproofing systems and materials. Our positions are full-time and permanent, with site locations determined by project demand. Ideal candidates should be open to relocating or traveling as needed.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Applying waterproofing membranes and protective coatings to foundations, basements, balconies, and roofs.
- Interpreting job specifications and adhering to safety requirements.
- Operating hand and power tools specific to waterproofing tasks.
- Following building code standards and health and safety guidelines.
- Working effectively across diverse job sites and environments.
Skills and Experience Required
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in waterproofing, either locally or internationally.
- Familiarity with torch-on membranes, liquid systems, and sealants.
- A trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred.
- The ability to work independently and travel between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Taranaki, we are actively recruiting for positions that will be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements. The regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We encourage applicants from any of these regions to apply, and candidates must be willing to travel or relocate within the country as necessary. Relocation costs will be covered by our company.
