About the Role
We are currently looking for experienced Hammerhands to work on a variety of construction sites throughout Dunedin. If you have a strong background in construction and take pride in delivering solid and reliable work, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- A minimum of 2 years of recent on-site experience as a Hammerhand
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read plans and follow instructions from builders and site managers
- Experience working on residential and/or commercial sites
- A solid understanding of health and safety requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid work rights for New Zealand
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Recent references that can attest to your skills and reliability
What You’ll Need
In addition to the above qualifications, you will also need:
- A nail bag and basic hand tools (a full kit is preferred)
- Reliable transport and a full New Zealand driver’s license
