About the Company
At Te Whatu Ora Waitemata, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of forensic mental health services. Our offerings include secure inpatient acute and rehabilitation services that connect to community rehabilitation programs. We also cater to offenders with intellectual disabilities, provide culture-specific programs for Māori, and offer court liaison and prison mental health services. Our team plays a vital role in serving the Northland Region Corrections Facility and the wider Northland community.

Given the complexity of our clients' mental health needs, you will work closely within a multi-disciplinary team in a custody environment.
We value excellent communication and networking skills, as well as a genuine interest in both the judicial system and mental health issues affecting our clients and their families. We are committed to supporting your professional development, providing supervision and ongoing training, and encouraging membership in the ANZASW as a Registered Social Worker.
