In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and preparing subfloors for new installations. You will lay carpet, vinyl, and laminate flooring according to client specifications, ensuring that each job meets our high standards. Your responsibilities will include cutting and trimming materials for precise finishes, seaming and stretching carpets using industry-standard tools, and safely installing underlayments and adhesives. You will also inspect completed work for quality and compliance, maintain tools and equipment, and communicate closely with site supervisors and clients to ensure projects stay on schedule. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of two years of proven experience as a carpet, vinyl, or laminate installer. A strong knowledge of installation techniques, adhesives, and underlayments is essential. You should be comfortable working on both residential and light commercial sites and possess excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes. A full driver’s license (Class 1) and reliable transportation are required, as well as a Site Safe certification or a willingness to obtain one.
