About the Role
We are currently seeking passionate individuals for a full-time permanent position, working 80 hours per fortnight from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. In this role, you will support others in achieving their goals and help them engage with their community. Our team is committed to breaking down barriers and creating inclusive environments where everyone feels a sense of belonging. We aim high and collaborate to turn ambitions into reality.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities:
- A Passion for People: You should be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with others.
- Empathy and Understanding: Familiarity with the Enabling Good Lives principles is essential.
- Team Player: We value professionalism, honesty, and reliability, along with a flexible mindset.
- Practical Skills: You should be capable of providing personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing.
- Driver Licence: A full New Zealand driver licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your responsibilities.
- Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to work towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust, is required.
