About the Role
We are currently seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Community Services team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in your community. We provide various employment options, including permanent, full-time, part-time, and casual positions, allowing for flexibility around your other commitments or the preference for regular rostered shifts.
As a Support Worker, you will be an integral part of a broader team dedicated to helping our clients achieve their goals and reach their potential. You will provide both practical and emotional support to assist clients in living independently within their homes and communities. Your responsibilities will vary according to individual care plans and may include:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Administering medication
- Personal care (e.g., showering, toileting)
- Home management
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess a genuine desire to help and support others, along with a commitment to achieving excellence in their work. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous healthcare or caregiving experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant healthcare qualifications, including training in manual stimulation
- A full New Zealand driver's license and reliable transport (most positions require this)

The hourly wage ranges from $23.50 to $29.10, depending on your experience and qualifications.
