Pleasure Electrical Limited is a reputable electrical services provider based in Auckland. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality electrical solutions in the Auckland region and are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Linesworker to join our team.
About the Role
In this full-time position, you will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with hourly wage rates ranging from $29 to $41, depending on your skills and work experience. As an Electrical Linesworker, your responsibilities will include:
- Installing conductors, underground cables, and relevant equipment
- Maintaining electrical hardware to ensure optimal performance
- Responding to emergency situations and electrical breakdowns
- Conducting switch installations
- Installing electrical equipment and overhead lines
- Testing cables and associated equipment
- Joining cables and finishing them with the appropriate equipment and methods
- Arranging pre-wiring and installing power points, switches, LED down-lights, main earth rods, switchboards, and meter boxes
- Maintaining the electricity network
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should possess at least two years of relevant work experience or hold a New Zealand Level 4 qualification or above.
