About the Role We are seeking a Manager of Relationships to lead a team of relationship leads within our Survivor Experiences Service. In this role, you will collaborate with other survivor-facing teams to establish and nurture relationships with various survivor communities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our relationship-building efforts align with the overall activities of the team, fostering a collaborative approach to delivering tailored support for survivors. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping the strategy for relationship development and to enhance service performance based on your insights. Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong background in relationship management, particularly with survivors from Māori, Pacific, Disabled, and Deaf communities. Your experience should include: - Developing a comprehensive strategy for relationship development and maintenance that addresses the unique needs of various survivor groups. - Gathering community intelligence to inform our policies and services. - Enabling and empowering your team to build productive relationships with survivors and their communities. - Understanding public sector frameworks and utilizing them to maximize the potential of talented staff, including those with limited public sector experience. - Collaborating closely with other teams to ensure effective relationship development and maintenance. - Identifying opportunities for improvement, proposing ideas to colleagues and managers, and swiftly implementing agreed-upon innovations. - Managing complex issues and projects, demonstrating resilience, sound judgement, and tact when addressing sensitive matters. Benefits Joining our team means becoming part of a passionate group dedicated to supporting survivors of abuse in care. This role allows you to significantly influence the data management and uplift strategy while improving service performance through your findings and insights. We value face-to-face interactions to foster strong relationships, while also supporting flexible work arrangements, including remote work and adaptable hours to fit your life. Here, you will engage in meaningful work that is unique within New Zealand and offers excellent opportunities for skill development and career advancement. As an equal opportunity employer, we embrace diversity and inclusion, recognizing that a varied workforce enhances our business outcomes. We are committed to providing an equitable workplace for all employees. If you are excited about this opportunity, even if you do not meet all the criteria, we encourage you to reach out.
