    About the Company At Te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga Archives New Zealand, we are dedicated to ensuring effective and trusted government record-keeping that benefits all New Zealanders. We manage and preserve over seven million official records, ranging from 19th-century treaties to 21st-century documents and data. Our mission is to make these valuable resources accessible, connecting New Zealanders to their rights, entitlements, and stories, both now and in the future. About the Role We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee a significant project involving the relocation of our archival holdings in Wellington. The Wellington office houses 80 kilometers of archival materials, which are expected to be moved to a new building over an 18-month period. In this fixed-term position, which runs until August 2026, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring all deliverables are met, and managing the project team effectively. Requirements To excel in this role, you will need: - A minimum of 5 years of project management experience - Proven experience in leading complex logistics within a property or government context - A strong comfort level working in an environment where tikanga Māori is deeply integrated - Highly effective stakeholder management skills - PRINCE2 or PMP Certification If you are passionate about tackling cutting-edge projects and thrive on challenges, all while contributing positively to New Zealand, we would love to hear from you.
