About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated Groundsman to join our team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients and key stakeholders to ensure the quality and readiness of our first-class cricket grounds and other playing surfaces. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of turf management, from initial preparation to ongoing maintenance throughout the year, ensuring that facilities are match day ready. Requirements We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and attributes: - A genuine passion for sports turf and a strong focus on cricket wicket preparation. - A minimum of three years of demonstrable experience in Turf Management, specifically in the preparation and maintenance of cricket pitches and other sports playing surfaces. - A formal qualification in Turf Management, ideally at Level 4. - Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in operating mowers, tractors, and turf-related equipment. - Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. - A current full Driver’s Licence.
