About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Groundsman to join our growing team. In this role, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and work collaboratively with clients and key stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining first-class cricket grounds, playing surfaces, and their surroundings. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and eager to meet deadlines while exceeding client expectations. This position encompasses all aspects of turf management, from the initial preparation of surfaces to ongoing maintenance throughout the year, including achieving "match day" readiness. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes: - A passion for sports turf and physical fitness, with a self-driven approach to work. - A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in Turf Management, with specific expertise in the preparation and maintenance of cricket pitches and other sports turf. - A formal qualification in Turf Management, ideally at level 4. - A mechanical aptitude for operating mowers, tractors, and turf-related equipment. - Strong attention to detail, well-planned organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously. - A current full Driver’s Licence.
