About the Role We are seeking an Otolaryngologist for a permanent, full-time position, requiring 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE). This role offers numerous opportunities to develop subspecialist interests that will enhance our current service offerings. We maintain strong connections with allied health departments and various specialties, along with regional and tertiary services, to provide a comprehensive care package. Once settled in the role, there may also be opportunities to engage in part-time work within the private sector alongside our current ENT specialists. About the Team/Service/Location In this position, you will deliver outpatient services from our new facility located in the vibrant Ahuriri area of Napier, just a short stroll from the marina, which features an array of restaurants and shopping options. The location is conveniently situated 20 minutes by car from the Hastings hospitals, with the majority of elective surgeries performed at Kaweka Hospital, a newly constructed, state-of-the-art surgical center adjacent to the public hospital. About You Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Specialist Otolaryngologist. Additionally, applicants should be fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or hold an equivalent qualification.
