About the Role We are currently seeking Psychiatrists for both Full Time (preferred) and Part Time positions. There are a variety of Specialist Mental Health roles available across the South Island, and we encourage you to reach out for more information about the following vacancies: - Psychiatrist | Part Time or Full Time - Psychiatrist | Adult General Crisis Resolution Team - Consultant Psychiatrist Christchurch is a vibrant city that caters to a diverse range of interests. We invite you to explore all that Christchurch has to offer. In the Consultant Psychiatrist role, you will be part of our Adult General Service within an integrated system. You will encounter a variety of cases, providing input into crisis situations, inpatient care, community assessments, and ongoing care work. It is essential that you have experience in Adult Mental Health, which may include inpatient, outpatient, alcohol and drug services, and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with quality-driven, forward-thinking multidisciplinary teams where professionalism and teamwork are paramount. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities. You will leverage your specialist knowledge and clinical expertise to deliver innovative acute and long-term care tailored to individual needs. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in our established multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the ongoing development of our client-centered frameworks. Requirements To be eligible for this role, you must be able to obtain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. More information can be found on their website.
