About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, including office buildings, warehouses, factories, and construction sites. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations and upgrades for commercial and industrial sites
- Troubleshoot and identify faults in electrical systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand electrical standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and other trades
Requirements
- NZ Registered Electrician with a current practicing license
- Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
- Strong understanding of New Zealand electrical codes and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Full New Zealand driver's license
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
