About the Role In this role, you will play a crucial part in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, particularly in mechanical and HVAC applications, civil works, traffic signal systems, and communications infrastructure within various commercial environments. - Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues to provide efficient solutions that minimize downtime. - Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a high level of quality across all projects. - Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation. - Collaborating closely with other trades, subcontractors, and team members to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems and installations. Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications and skills: - Must be a New Zealand registered Electrician with a current Electricians' practice licence from the EWRB. - A valid full Class 1 driver's licence is required. - Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively. - Willingness to complete essential daily safety documentation, job sheets, and timesheets. - Flexibility to travel and occasionally stay away from home is essential. - Participation in an on-call roster is expected. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team. - Proficient computer skills and familiarity with a variety of computer applications. - Strong electrical experience, particularly in industrial electrics, and electronics, along with some programming ability, is advantageous.
