About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled operator for heavy machinery to work on civil worksites in South Auckland. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery and perform various ad hoc laboring duties while adhering strictly to safety guidelines. Duties
- Operate heavy machinery
- Perform ad hoc laboring duties as required
- Follow safety guidelines diligently
- Maintain a positive attitude in all tasks
Requirements
- A full New Zealand Class 1 driver's license is essential
- WTR (wheeled, tracked, and roller) endorsement is required
- Site Safe or Construct Safe certification is desirable
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Completion of a prospective employee health questionnaire is necessary
- Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident
Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27 to $32, along with an additional 8% holiday pay. We provide a weekly pay cycle and supply personal protective equipment (PPE). This role is temporary with the potential for permanent placement.
