About the Role We are currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our vibrant team in Kaiapoi, Christchurch as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience. Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert advice on our product range, assisting with sales support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch. Your day-to-day tasks will involve answering customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong internal relationships with our procurement and demand management teams, completing necessary administration tasks, and regularly operating a forklift to manage product movement on-site. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following key attributes: - Excellent customer service skills to foster strong relationships and ensure all customer needs are met. - Advanced knowledge of Hynds products and applications, along with an understanding of how these products work together to provide effective solutions. - A full New Zealand driver’s license (Class 1) and an F endorsement. - Business acumen with an understanding of the key drivers of business performance. - A practical understanding and experience with health and safety standards.
