Our team thrives on collaboration and innovation, and we are currently looking for a dedicated Senior Forklift Operator to join us. About the Role In this position, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $25 to $30, depending on your skills and experience. We expect this role to require between 30 to 50 hours of work per week, with periodic reviews of pay. Overtime will be compensated at the same hourly rate. As a Senior Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include: - Operating forklifts to safely raise, lower, stack, and transport goods within the warehouse environment. - Navigating forklifts through narrow aisles and confined spaces while ensuring efficient stock movement. - Overseeing the receipt of goods, verifying shipments, and conducting regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy. - Systematically storing goods for easy access and efficient order fulfillment. - Picking, packing, and scanning orders for timely dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. - Inspecting and maintaining forklifts to prevent malfunctions and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Assigning tasks, monitoring team performance, and enforcing health and safety protocols. - Assisting with loading and unloading to optimize workflow, while reporting any operational issues. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - A minimum of three years of proven experience in forklift operation. - A strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control. - The ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet operational deadlines. - Good physical fitness, with the capability to lift and move heavy goods as required. - A strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to health and safety regulations. - A willingness to work weekends, overtime, or shifts as required. - The successful candidate must have no criminal convictions and be able to pass drug tests.
