Forklift Driver

About the Role We are seeking a Forklift Driver who will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. In this role, you will load, unload, move, and stack goods safely and efficiently within our warehouse or logistics environment. Key Responsibilities In this position, you will: - Operate various forklifts, including counterbalance, high reach, and pallet jacks, to handle goods and materials. - Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage racks. - Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks on forklifts. - Follow standard warehouse and logistics procedures. - Maintain accurate inventory records and update our warehouse management systems. - Assist with general warehouse tasks such as packing, labeling, and organizing stock. - Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and company policies. - Coordinate with dispatch, delivery drivers, and logistics staff to ensure smooth operations. Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria: - A NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three years of relevant working experience. - Basic knowledge of post-harvest handling and cool chain logistics is advantageous. - Ability to work in varying weather conditions and fast-paced environments. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Physical fitness with the capability to lift and move heavy loads safely.
