About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time Forklift Driver to join our team. This position offers at least 30 guaranteed hours per week, with workdays from Monday to Friday. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals looking to grow within our organization.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Loading, unloading, and shipping packaged items.
- Transporting items and goods to various locations within our factory and warehouse.
- Accurately identifying the correct placement of loads and securing them to the forklift prior to transportation.
- Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely in compliance with health and safety policies.
- Examining and managing equipment to identify any signs of damage.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment before each operation and identifying potential work hazards.
- Adhering to safety management standards and production schedules.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or a relevant New Zealand Level 4 qualification or equivalent certifications.
- A positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced computer literacy, communication skills, and administrative abilities.
