About the Role
We are seeking an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our Oral Maxillofacial service based at Christchurch Hospital. This position involves providing care for both acute and elective outpatient and inpatient cases. The role includes being part of a 1:4 out-of-hours on-call roster. This is a part-time position at 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week) with a negotiable start date.
Christchurch Hospital is the largest tertiary, teaching, and research hospital in the South Island, offering a comprehensive range of emergency, acute, planned care, and outpatient services. It serves as a level one trauma center, allowing you to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Requirements for the Role
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and the Dental Council of New Zealand
- Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
- Extensive experience in both elective and acute maxillofacial procedures
