About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our dynamic cardiovascular team. This is a permanent position at 0.6 FTE, complemented by an additional 0.3 FTE fixed-term role through The Hamid Ikram Fellowship for the first two years. There is potential for additional FTE after this period. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Contribute to our general Cardiology inpatient and outpatient services, including participation in acute general Cardiology call. - Depending on your expertise, help develop our services in areas such as echocardiography, CT coronary angiography, cardiac MRI, heart failure, adult congenital heart disease, cardiac genetics, or other specialties. - Be part of the after-hours echo roster if appropriately trained. - Collaborate in multidisciplinary patient care alongside cardiothoracic surgery, radiology, and intensive care teams. - Provide clinical leadership and training for junior doctors and allied health professionals. - Engage in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives. - Participate in an on-call roster as part of a dedicated team. About You To thrive in this position, you should possess: - Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or an equivalent specialist qualification. - Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a specialist in cardiology. - A strong commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and teamwork. - A passion for innovation, research, and teaching.
