About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Pain Medicine Physician to join our team at the Pain Management Centre located in Burwood Hospital, Canterbury. In this role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients in regaining function and enhancing their quality of life. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility focused on managing chronic non-malignant pain through coordinated outpatient clinics, interventional procedures, and inpatient care. You will also play a crucial role in rebuilding the Pain Management Centre and help us achieve Faculty of Pain Medicine accreditation as a recognized training center. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Hold eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and meet the standards set by the Faculty of Pain Medicine. - Have proven experience working within holistic, interdisciplinary teams. - If you are an international candidate, we invite you to complete a self-assessment for international medical graduates via the ANZCA | SIMG Quiz to check your eligibility.
