About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Part-time Menu Processor to join our team at Whanganui Hospital. This position involves working 6 hours over the weekend, specifically on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 3 PM to 6 PM. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between the onsite ward staff, clinical Dietitians, and our Compass Group Production and Service team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all patients receive meals that meet their unique dietary requirements during their hospital stay. This position is an excellent opportunity for nutrition and dietetics students or anyone looking to gain experience in food service or nutrition. Requirements Our ideal candidate will be a team player with strong time management and customer care skills. Proficiency in computer applications is essential, and prior experience in the food industry would be advantageous. Ideally, you will possess a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be willing to undertake training for one. Excellent customer service skills are a must, as is a genuine passion for food quality and customer satisfaction.
