About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time Scaffolders to join our team across various regions of New Zealand. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from a minimum of $26.00 to a maximum of $40.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. As a full-time, permanent role, you will have the opportunity to work on major infrastructure and commercial projects. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools to ensure your safety and efficiency on the job.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects. Additionally, you will construct stands and tiered seating for public events, including concerts and sporting events.
Your duties will include inspecting areas that require scaffolding and calculating the specifications needed for the project. You will unload materials, assemble tubing and braces to form frameworks, and install ladder rails and other attachments.
It is also your responsibility to check and maintain scaffolding equipment, inspect structures for safety, and dismantle scaffolding upon project completion. You may be assigned other related duties as necessary.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant scaffolding experience. We are looking for candidates who are friendly, possess good time management skills, and have a strong work ethic.
A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry is essential. You should also have sound knowledge of health and safety procedures and demonstrate reliability and hard work.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in the Manawatu-Whanganui region, we are actively recruiting for positions across all regions of New Zealand based on project requirements.
The regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We encourage applicants from any of these regions, and candidates must be willing to travel or relocate as necessary. The company will cover relocation costs if required.
