About the Role We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Part-time Menu Processor to join our team at Whanganui Hospital. This position entails working 13 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on weekends. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between onsite ward staff, clinical dietitians, and our Compass Group Production and Service team. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all patients receive the correct meals tailored to their specific dietary requirements during their hospital stay. This position offers an excellent opportunity for nutrition or dietetic students, as well as anyone seeking experience in food service or nutrition. Requirements Our ideal candidate will be a team player with strong time management and customer care skills. Proficiency in computer usage is essential, and a background in the food industry would be advantageous. While holding a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) is preferred, we are also open to training the right candidate. You should possess outstanding customer service skills and, most importantly, a passion for delivering exceptional food and service quality.
