About the Role
This role involves working a night shift from Tuesday to Friday, from 12 AM to 8 AM. The project is expected to last for approximately 3 to 4 weeks, and we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities. The compensation for this position is $24.00 per hour, along with an additional $5.00 per hour night shift allowance.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Physically fit, as the role is physically demanding
- Right to work in New Zealand
- Strong work ethic and good communication skills
- Valid Site Safe certification is advantageous
- Previous experience in the construction sector is preferred, but not essential
What is Involved in the Role
As part of your responsibilities, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Lifting and moving heavy materials
- Digging, sweeping, drilling, and trenching
- Conducting site clean-ups
- Spotting machinery
- Performing general site laboring duties
