About the Role We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career and develop within our company. The position offers a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an hourly wage ranging from $23.50 to $24, depending on experience. Key responsibilities for this position include: - Preparing food ingredients - Cooking menu items under the guidance of the senior chef - Managing and stocking inventory effectively - Washing and cleaning utensils and dishes - Keeping benches, floors, and other kitchen areas clean - Disposing of rubbish appropriately - Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment - Adhering to all hygiene and health and safety regulations - Fostering a positive and professional atmosphere with coworkers and customers Requirements Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria: - A Cookery qualification at Level 4 or higher, or - A minimum of two years of relevant work experience - Flexible availability, as the role requires night shifts and Saturdays - Experience with Mexican food and ingredients is preferred - A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Benefits Joining our team at Tacobebe offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity and passion for food are encouraged.
