We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and are currently looking to expand our talented team in Auckland. About the Role We are seeking qualified and experienced chefs to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience working in high-volume kitchens, particularly with Asian cuisine or baking. These positions are vital to our operations, and your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring production outcomes meet specifications and deadlines for your team. - Upholding food safety and quality standards, ensuring all products comply with our food safety program and customer specifications. - Minimizing product wastage from raw ingredients to finished items and ensuring accurate accounting for all materials used. - Adhering to health and safety protocols and actively participating in our health and safety management initiatives. We are looking for practical chefs who take pride in producing high-quality food for our clients. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English are essential. Additionally, candidates should possess a qualification in culinary skills that meets or exceeds the NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Culinary Skills or the City and Guilds 7100 Level 3 Diploma. Experience in Asian cuisine or baking is highly preferred. Requirements - Proven experience in high-volume kitchens. - Qualification in culinary skills equivalent to NZQA Level 4 or City and Guilds 7100 Level 3. - Strong communication skills in English. - Availability for a flexible schedule, including shifts on any day of the week. - Commitment to food safety, quality, and health and safety protocols. Our kitchens operate seven days a week, with shifts typically scheduled between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM, and lasting around 8 hours each day. Overtime may be required to meet the demands of the business. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
