School Cleaner Required - Darfield

About the Company We are dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our school community. Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring that classrooms and facilities are well-kept, supporting both students and staff in their daily activities. About the Role We are currently seeking a Cleaner for a part-time position of 17.5 hours per week. This role involves cleaning classrooms and restrooms, vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, performing detail work, maintaining kitchens and tea rooms, and managing rubbish removal, all to a high standard. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Please be aware that, as this is a school setting, the position requires you to work for 40 weeks a year, along with an additional 4 weeks dedicated to term cleaning. While you will primarily work outside of school hours, you may interact with the public and teaching staff, so excellent people skills are essential. If you have prior professional cleaning experience, we would love to see you apply; however, we are also open to training candidates without experience. Requirements Candidates must be able to pass and maintain Ministry of Justice and New Zealand Police Security Checks.
