About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Drainlayer to join our team in the 3 Waters sector. If you have a strong background in drainlaying and are looking for a new and exciting opportunity, we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will be involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of stormwater, wastewater, and water drainage systems on significant drainage projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair stormwater, wastewater, and water drainage systems on large-scale projects.
- Perform excavation, trenching, and backfilling in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled tradespeople, subcontractors, and project managers to achieve quality outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve drainage issues to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Qualified or experienced Drainlayer with relevant trade qualifications and/or experience.
- Strong knowledge of 3 Waters systems (sewer, water, and stormwater) and construction practices.
- Solid experience in civil construction, particularly in drainage and underground utility work.
- Ability to interpret plans and specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Full driver’s license (Class 2 preferred) and WTR certification.
