We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our team in the Taranaki region.
About the Role
We are looking for reliable and motivated Scaffolders for multiple positions. This role may require you to work across various locations in New Zealand to assist with our diverse projects, so flexibility in work locations is preferred.
The primary responsibilities include the dismantling of temporary metal scaffolding to create safe work platforms and structures at building and industrial sites. Your duties will encompass:
- Assessing job requirements by planning and arranging scaffolding
- Selecting and preparing necessary materials for each job
- Loading and unloading scaffolding and equipment at the worksite
- Erecting scaffold structures by lifting and positioning sections, and bolting pipes together
- Establishing platforms and implementing safety measures
- Inspecting and repairing scaffolding to ensure stability and safety
- Installing guard rails and safety netting
- Maintaining a clean workspace, including equipment and tools
- Adhering to health and safety requirements
- Completing any additional duties as assigned
Pay Conditions
The pay rate for this position ranges from a minimum of $29.66 to a maximum of $34.00 per hour, depending on your experience. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:
- A minimum of 2.5 years of relevant scaffolding experience or an equivalent qualification
- A friendly attitude, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic
- Flexibility to work in various locations throughout New Zealand
- A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry
- A strong dedication to health and safety practices on-site
- Reliability and a hardworking nature
Location
You may be required to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including regions such as Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
This is a permanent and full-time position. Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens/Residents or possess a valid New Zealand work visa.
