About the Role As a Project Manager (PATH), you will lead and implement transformative changes by collaborating closely with clinical and operational teams. Your primary focus will be ensuring a seamless transition for patients into programs such as Hospital in the Home, expanded community rehabilitation services, and criteria-led discharge pathways. This is a fixed-term, full-time position for 24 months, requiring you to work 80 hours per fortnight (1.0) from Monday to Friday. There is no on-call requirement for this role. About the Team/Service/Location Working on Project Whakatupuranga, the redevelopment of Nelson Hospital, means you will be directly contributing to a brighter future for our community. This project aims to enhance access to modern healthcare models for our evolving population. About You To excel as a Project Manager (PATH), you should: - Be highly organized and results-oriented - Have a passion for sustainable change - Demonstrate high levels of motivation, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively - Be skilled in identifying risks and providing effective solutions - Adapt to changing situations and unexpected challenges - Have experience managing complex healthcare projects - Be familiar with PMP or PRINCE2 methodologies The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or possess a valid New Zealand work visa at the time of application.
