    Service Lead, Live Life Disability Support, Permanent Full-time We invite you to consider a challenging and rewarding opportunity as a Service Lead with Live Life Disability Support. In this role, you will be supported by our team and receive external supervision as you help us build a health system that serves all New Zealanders, grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. About the Role As a Service Lead, you will work closely with your teams to deliver exceptional support that empowers disabled individuals and their natural networks. Your primary focus will be on embedding the principles of Enabling Good Lives and ensuring that active support is effectively implemented. You will oversee services in the Nelson and Tasman areas and will benefit from access to bookable pool cars for travel. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of five to seven direct reports. The position can be fast-paced and requires flexibility, resilience, and a good sense of humor to navigate staffing and daily challenges. You will have the backing of your manager and fellow Service Leads, along with external supervision. This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 80 hours of work per fortnight (1.0 FTE), with scheduled hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, along with some flexibility to meet service needs. About the Team/Service/Location Our team consists of eight Service Leads who collaborate with disabled individuals, their families, and the community to provide support that enables them to live fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals. About You We are looking for a leader who embodies vision, courage, passion, confidence, and commitment, while fostering innovation within the team. To be considered for this role, you should: - Hold a New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) Advanced Support or an equivalent health or disability-related qualification recognized by the Ministry of Health. - Hold a Level 5 Diploma or above, or be actively working towards this qualification in Human Services or a related field. - Be eligible to work in New Zealand or possess a valid New Zealand visa at the time of application. - Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary and cross-agency teams.
