About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Administration Support professional to join our team at Nelson Hospital in a permanent part-time capacity. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the care of patients and their families in a rewarding and fast-paced environment.
As a Clinical Administrative Support member, you will utilize your attention to detail and data management skills to assist our clinical staff in accessing critical patient information. Your efforts will help save lives and enhance the patient care journey. Responsibilities include producing accurate records, assisting patients and staff with inquiries, and performing general administrative duties as needed. This position requires you to work 48 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE) from Monday to Friday, with specific start and finish times to be confirmed with the successful candidate.

About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess a bright and outgoing personality, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. Competency in typing and a solid knowledge of the MS Office Suite are essential. You must be highly empathetic and understand the significance of maintaining patient confidentiality, while also demonstrating the ability to manage a busy workload. Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous but not required.
