About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Wiri AKL location. In this role, you will lead the daily activities of a dedicated team, which includes warehouse team leaders, operators, administrators, and contractors. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient storage and handling of goods for our customers in the telecommunications and digital services industry.
What You Will Do
In this position, you will manage inbound and outbound order volumes to ensure timely, safe, and secure completion. You will oversee daily site operations, maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.
You will also play an active role in talent acquisition, recruitment, performance management, and coaching of team members. Supporting the site in achieving safety, environmental, KPI, Kaizen, LEAN, service delivery, and P&L targets will be essential to your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for candidates who have experience managing 3PL warehouse operations or are ready to take on this role. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in coaching and developing operational teams.
- Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving abilities, commercial awareness, and numeracy skills.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office and adaptability to new systems.
- Knowledge of enterprise agreements is a plus.
Candidates must provide proof of work rights, professional references, and will be required to undergo a medical assessment and police check.
