About the Role
In this role, you will operate Class 4 trucks to transport machinery, materials, and equipment. You will work closely with civil crews on various projects, providing assistance with general laboring tasks. Your projects may include road maintenance, drainage, site works, and earthmoving. A key focus will be ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A valid Class 4 New Zealand driver’s licence; a Class 5 licence is advantageous but not mandatory
- WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsements
- Significant experience in civil construction, road maintenance, or infrastructure work
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
- The ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Reliable transport to and from the work site
Benefits
We offer competitive pay ranging from $30 to $34 per hour, along with ongoing, stable work throughout the winter months and beyond.
