We pride ourselves on delivering quality services and fostering a collaborative work environment. Currently, we are seeking experienced Roofers to join our teams in the Waikato region. About the Role As a Roofer with us, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of quality projects. Our crews are committed to putting in a solid day's work and take pride in the craftsmanship they deliver. Your daily responsibilities will include: - Inspecting roofs to assess repair needs - Measuring and cutting materials to specifications - Installing shingles, metal, and various roofing products - Laying underlays, vapour barriers, and insulation - Replacing damaged joists or plywood - Sealing joints, flashings, and roof penetrations - Removing old materials and installing new systems - Working from ladders, scaffolds, or harnesses - Accurately reading plans and drawings - Maintaining a safe and tidy job site - Collaborating with fellow tradespeople on site Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - Proven experience in roofing (essential) - A full New Zealand driver’s licence and the ability to tow and reverse a trailer - Your own tool belt, drill, impact driver, string line, tin snips, and basic hand tools - Site Safe certification (or willingness to obtain, as we can assist with this) - A Working at Heights ticket is a bonus - A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail Benefits In return for your skills and dedication, we offer: - A competitive pay rate ranging from $30 to $36 per hour, depending on experience - Monday to Friday work schedule with no weekend commitments - A variety of projects that emphasize quality workmanship - A supportive and collaborative work environment We invite you to join our team and contribute to the quality projects we undertake in the Waikato region.
