We take pride in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where every team member contributes to our shared success.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced tractor mower operator to join our team. This role involves working along high-speed roads, where safety awareness and focus are crucial. You will be operating in high-traffic areas and around loud equipment for extended periods. The ideal candidate is a team player who can work closely with a pilot driver to ensure smooth operations. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential, as is the ability to consistently follow safety protocols.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A current full driver’s license with the ability to operate a manual vehicle
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a willingness to follow instructions and complete tasks safely
- A positive attitude, reliability, a strong work ethic, and physical fitness
- Experience operating a reach-arm mower is a plus
It is important to note that all applicants must be able to provide two relevant work references and pass a pre-employment criminal record check and drug test.
Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, with hourly wages ranging from $24 to $29 based on experience, paid weekly. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, with opportunities for extra hours during the summer months. Long workdays of up to 12 hours mean greater earning potential.
You will enjoy outdoor work in a dynamic environment, free from the confines of an office. We value hard work, good camaraderie, and supporting each other as a team. Additionally, we provide opportunities for training and upskilling to help you grow in your career.
If you do not meet all the requirements but have some of the following qualifications, we still encourage you to reach out:
- Current STMS or any traffic management control experience
- Valid Class 1 driver license with the ability to operate a manual vehicle
- A keen attitude and physical fitness ready for hard work
