About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Abdominal/Pelvic Radiologist to join our Radiology department at Waikato Hospital. In this full-time position, you will be interpreting and reporting on a variety of imaging studies, including CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, and MRI. Your role will involve handling a diverse range of complex clinical cases within your areas of expertise, such as hepatobiliary/pancreas, urology, gynecology, and gastrointestinal diseases. Additionally, your responsibilities will include general radiology and acute imaging. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings, mentor registrars, and contribute to maintaining high standards within the department. Key Responsibilities - Reporting on radiologic studies - Supervising and teaching registrars - Participating in oncology multidisciplinary meetings About the Team/Service Waikato Hospital is a tertiary training hospital and a Level 1 Trauma Centre that serves the entire Waikato region, making it one of the busiest hospitals in New Zealand. Our Radiology Department conducts approximately 200,000 examinations annually, with a strong emphasis on Emergency, Trauma imaging, and Oncology.
