About the Role We are currently seeking two Class 5 Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will hold a New Zealand Class 5 Driver License or an equivalent overseas license. This role requires a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week and offers a competitive pay rate of $32 per hour. As a Class 5 Truck Driver, your primary responsibilities will include: - Planning delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods - Driving trucks on various routes to deliver products - Supervising the loading and unloading of items from the trucks - Handling fragile and heavy items with care - Maintaining accurate records of all deliveries - Conducting daily inspections of the trucks for cleanliness and operational readiness - Adhering to traffic and driving regulations - Collecting delivery confirmations from customers - Monitoring and refueling the truck as necessary - Reporting any defects or maintenance needs of the truck - Promoting health and safety standards in all aspects of the job Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver - Ability to pass random drug and alcohol tests - Proficiency in driving manual trucks Benefits Joining our team at Convoy Truckline Limited comes with the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values your contributions.
