About the Role
We are currently looking for a dedicated Sales and Service Manager to join our management team in Papakura. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across various retail departments, including Women's and Men's Fashion, Homeware, and Nursery. Our environment is designed to foster your growth and prepare you for a successful retail career.
In the Sales and Service Manager position, you will be responsible for driving department sales and taking ownership of your team's performance. You will manage, coach, and motivate your team to exceed sales budgets while fostering a culture of exceptional customer service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving department sales and owning the team's performance
- Coaching and developing your team to enhance sales results
- Collaborating with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure timely setup of visual elements
- Promoting a customer service culture across departments
- Implementing and communicating promotional plans for upcoming events
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, such as Store Manager of a small store or Department Manager of a medium to large store
- Strong sales coaching skills with a proven track record of improving sales performance
- Exceptional customer focus
- Excellent team management experience with the ability to motivate and coach staff
