About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated Seafood and Service Bar Manager to lead our Seafood and Butchery service bar team. Our store has a strong reputation for offering an extensive range of fresh and high-quality products, and we are looking for someone who can continue this tradition while driving innovation and expanding our offerings in the Seafood and Butchery departments.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a busy department, which will include weekend work. Your remuneration will be determined based on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to our team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a department manager or assistant manager in Seafood or Butchery, along with proven leadership skills. Familiarity with SAP and experience in staff management are preferred.

- Ability to develop and manage your team, including responsibilities related to rosters, recruitment, training, and performance management
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure
- Knowledge of SAP for ordering and department administration
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Integrity, innovative thinking, and commercial awareness
- Positivity, initiative, and self-motivation
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- A focus on Health & Safety and Food Safety
- Completion of Unit Standards 167 and 168 is preferred but not essential
